Assistant Accountant

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a dynamic and rapidly expanding business with a proven track record of supporting individuals in their exam journey. This diverse and complex business offers the ideal platform for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience in the commercial aspects of accounts.

This is a newly-created position to complement the existing finance department, providing exposure in the following areas:

• Preparation of journals
• Reviewing management accounts for multiple entities
• Forecasting cash flow and profit
• Conducting financial analysis and preparing reports for senior management
• Conducting month-end reviews
• Supporting transactional processes and contributing innovative ideas for improvement

This role is perfect for a part-qualified (ACCA or CIMA) candidate who is eager to not only enhance their skill set but also commit to achieving full qualification. Previous experience in a similar role and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) essential.
