Finance Analyst

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of a growing distribution brand based in the Black Country on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business in its next phase of growth.

Main responsibilities will focus around providing commercial insight to relevant stakeholders, providing month end support and assisting with forecasting/ budgeting duties.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Play a critical role in ensuring that the Sales and Margin reporting and Balance sheet is robust.
• Use Excel and Qlik to report on business/ financial performance and use this insight to provide recommendations to improve processes.
• Assist the team with the month end reporting, specifically commercial margin, pricing variances and stock revaluation.
• Support the team with forecasting and budgeting duties whilst providing insightful analysis.
• Adhoc project work.

This role will suit a candidate who is advanced with using Excel, passionate about data driving financial reporting, is currently working as an Accounts Assistant and who is hungry to develop their career as an analyst. The ideal candidate will be studying towards or have exemptions towards CIMA/ ACCA studies.
