Commercial Finance Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to help establish robust process and commercial insight whilst supporting a proven and exceptional Finance Director.

Responsibilities will include;

• Work proactively to identify areas of opportunity, best practice and analysing financial performance.
• SAP S4 HANA implementation; working with the implementation partner and SAP direct. Experience of an ERP implementation is not a prerequisite element of the role but will be a demanding element of the role.
• Working capital management; including tight financial controls.
• Production of monthly reports including cashflow forecasting, investor and board reports.
• Production and review of budgets
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls including automating and streamlining current processes.
• Developing advanced excel models for capital investment, cash forecasting and management accounts.
• Produce and provide insightful commentary to the business and be able to challenge and support financial information provided.
• Leading the completion of the annual audit and liaising with auditors where applicable
• Ensuring that journal files are set up correctly for audit purposes.
• Support and mentor the accounts assistant in the current structure. Recruiting and managing future department development.

The successful candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with strong management accounts experience
• Ability to organise and implement processes to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with genuine enthusiasm to get wider exposure to the business and investors
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
